“On Space Time Foam”
This giant sculpture, or rather interactive exhibition / giant bouncy house is an exploration of the quantum physics and the nature of the rhythm of the universe. It is not only a giant sculpture but rather and interactive way to represent our interconnectedness with each other not only in a spiritual matter but also represented by the laws of physics and the butterfly effect. It is meant to represent that with a lift of the finger, every humans reaction to another can spark a causal effect throughout the entire universe.
Not only behind this deeper meaning, but it represents an interactivity that I want to have present in my sculptures. I want my audience to match this level of interaction and be able to integrate into a stunning sculpture that takes up the room with light and sound. I believe the transient quality of this work represents my work’s delight in escaping into a fantasy. Except my artistic fantasy is not an escape, rather an acceptance of the total reality until the feeling of perfection is found. Not through the pursuit of perfection, the convergence of it into every aspect of our being.
