nenouwasa is a creative team that uses a mixed medium of sculptural forms as well as plants, they combine gardening with sculptural technique in order to symbolize a connection of the natural and constructed worlds
working on creating exhibitions, designing for events, and art direction i think nenouwasa changes the sculptural game by incorporating life into their works. their projects are not mechanical, but almost become moving sculptures do to the plants and flowers that weave their way and become the essence of their sculptures
i believe that incorporating the natural world into sculpture is a beautiful collaboration of different mediums and after viewing their work, feel my own inspiration to consider this technique for future projects
the main concept behind these living sculptures is in order to use the natural world as a means of expression. these concepts also arise from the artist wanting to break free from the mold of being a florist. in terms of my creative path, i take interest in the unexpected beauty, and possibilities of expression when incorporating such medium into a sculptural form
